The Hazelnut Growers of Australia is the peak industry body for hazelnut growers in Australia. We support our members by representing the industry in government and horticultural forums, and providing networking and training opportunities through an annual conference, farm walks and workshops. The HGA maintains a grower handbook and updates growers with information through its quarterly newsletter.

The Hazelnut industry is emerging in Australia with approximately 60 tons produced in Australia by local growers. In contrast, 2000 tons of hazelnuts are imported each year. This demonstrates the fantastic potential of hazelnuts as a crop for a diversified farm or as a sole venture.
